35 Quay Street is on the quay in Fishguard. It's a terraced house right on the harbour. You look out over the water, the boats, and the ducks.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of them is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are standard for an old harbour house.
The back garden is enclosed. It's mostly paving with a little seating area. Good for dogs or sitting out with a drink.
The main living room has the harbour view and a wood burner. There's a smaller snug room off it, which is just a quiet spot with a sofa and books.
The kitchen has a big range cooker and a dishwasher. Everything you'd need is in the cupboards.
Fishguard is a working town. There's a small supermarket, a few pubs, cafes, and takeaways all within a five minute walk. The town hall has a farmers' market on Saturday mornings.
You can walk straight from the door. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path goes north and south from here. The Marine Walk around the coast is flat and popular. You can also walk up the Gwaun Valley from the quay along the river.
For beaches, Newport Sands is about ten minutes' drive north. To the south, Newgale and Whitesands are within half an hour. There are dozens of smaller coves all along the coast.
Strumble Head Lighthouse is a fifteen minute drive. The views from there, and from Garn Fawr, are very good. The Preseli Hills are inland, maybe twenty minutes by car.
Newport is a ten minute drive away if you want more shops or restaurants.
Facilities: everything listed is there. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the quay outside the house. You can bring up to two dogs.
