Old Rectory Cottage - Dinas Country Club
Old Rectory Cottage is part of Dinas Country Club, near Dinas Cross. It's a group of four cottages in about 22 acres of grounds, mostly lawn and woodland. They're old buildings, used to be part of a monastery from a few hundred years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well looked after. The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area together. There are stone floors and beams. The stairs are normal, not especially steep.
There's a patio with a table. The view is over trees.
You have use of the site facilities. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool, a children's play area, and a clubhouse. The clubhouse is in a very old building, 13th century, with a log fire. It serves real ales and is open at weekends.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right through the grounds. You can walk down to the beaches from here. Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod are about a 15 minute walk. Dinas Cross village is a short walk too, it has a shop and a pub.
For bigger days out, Tenby is about half an hour by car. The Preseli Hills are inland, maybe a 25 minute drive. Goodwell, or Whitesands Bay for surfing, is about 40 minutes. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has all the walking info.
Facilities in the cottage: bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets.
The other three cottages here can be booked together if you're a bigger group.
