Old Rectory Cottage - Dinas Country Club
This is Old Rectory Cottage. It's one of four cottages at Dinas Country Club, near Dinas Cross in Pembrokeshire. The whole place used to be part of an old monastery, so it's got some history. The cottage is for four people, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place.
The cottage itself is stone-built. You get the stone walls and beams, and flagged floors downstairs. The kitchen and living area is all open plan, so it's a good space to be in together. Outside, there's a patio with a view down into the wooded valley.
You're on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A coastal footpath goes right through the site, down to the little beaches at Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod. That's about a ten or fifteen minute walk.
Being part of the country club means you can use the facilities. There's a 13th century clubhouse that's open at weekends, they serve real ales. There's also an outdoor heated swimming pool, a kids' play park, and a field. The local shop is literally next door, and a pub and restaurant are about twenty yards away.
If you want to go further, you've got the whole coast to explore. Tenby is a good day out, about forty minutes by car. For activities, there's Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton, and Folly Farm, all within a 45 minute drive.
Facilities in the cottage: it's all on one level, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can park right there. No pets.
