Llys Isaf

Llys Isaf is in St Nicholas, near Fishguard in Pembrokeshire. It's a one-bedroom cottage, so it's just for two people. It used to be the coachman's house for the big place next door.

It's a 4 Star place. It's quite small, but it's been done up nicely. There's a wood burner in the sitting room. We leave you some logs to get started. The kitchen is small but has everything you need, including a dishwasher.

The stairs go up to the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has some low beams. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over it.

Outside, you have your own terrace with a table. The main lawn is shared with the main house. The garden is full of interesting plants, the owners have collected them for years. There's a gas BBQ you can ask to use.

You're down a wooded drive, so it's quiet. You look out over fields towards the sea. The beaches at Aberbach and Abermawr are about two miles away. You can walk down through the National Trust woods to get to them. Keep an eye out for seals.

For the coast path, Strumble Head lighthouse is about a 15 minute drive north. It's good for watching porpoises. The cliffs at Pwll Deri are also close by and very dramatic.

Fishguard is the nearest proper town for shops. It's a few miles away.

Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you need it. The National Cycle Route 4 passes close by.
