Fountain Hill

It's called Fountain Hill. It's in Pontyglasier, Carmarthenshire. It's a big, detached former farmhouse. It sleeps twelve people over six bedrooms. There are four bathrooms.

It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well kitted out and comfortable. You've got things like a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.

The place is on its own, so the views are really good. You look out over fields towards the Preseli Hills. There's a stream at the bottom of the garden. Inside, it's got original beams, solid oak floors, and a big inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. There are two living rooms, so a bit of space if people want to do different things.

Outside, there's a patio with a barbecue and a private hot tub. The garden and parking are all on site.

You can bring up to two dogs.

It's quiet here. The nearest shop is about two miles away. A pub and restaurant are three and a half miles.

You're right on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Good walking from the doorstep, both in the hills and on the coast path. Beaches like Poppit Sands and Newport are about a 15 to 20 minute drive. Cardigan town is about 15 minutes away too, it's got a castle, shops, and places to eat.

Within half an hour you can get to places like Tenby, or attractions like Folly Farm and Oakwood. There's golf, horse riding, and fishing nearby if that's your thing.

Just to note, it's a proper old house. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones. Some of the doorways are low because of the beams.
