Stambar is in Pentre Galar, Carmarthenshire. It's up in the Preseli Hills, so the views are the main thing. You look out over the valley from the back. It's quiet.
It's a detached stone barn that sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well put together and comfortable. It used to be a cow shed, then it was a ruin, but we've rebuilt it properly. It's on our land but it's completely private.
There's a kitchen, dining and sitting area all in one open plan room. French doors open onto your own patio. The hot tub is out there. The ceilings are high and there are exposed stone walls in places.
Crymych village is about five minutes drive. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and a butcher's there. The pub does food. For a bigger shop, Narberth is about twenty minutes away. It's a nice market town with good delis and places to eat.
You're right in the hills for walking. The Golden Road is an ancient trail up on the ridge. For the coast, Tenby is probably the best bet, but it's about half an hour's drive. Good beaches and a harbour there.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. On site parking. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
