Y Bwthyn is in Blaenwaun, which is a quiet hamlet. It's set back from the lane at the end of a private track. It's part of a smallholding, so there are fields and some chickens around.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well. The main living area is all open plan, which is good if you're all in together. There's underfloor heating, which is great in winter. The shower is a walk-in one on the ground floor.
The garden has seating and looks out onto farmland. There's a hot tub. Because it's so dark here at night, you get a really clear view of the stars from it.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
For a local pub, the Dyffryn Arms in Cwmduad is about a ten minute drive. It does food.
You're right on the border of three counties here, so you can get to a lot of places in under an hour. The Pembrokeshire coast is about 25 minutes south. Carmarthen Bay is about the same. For a big beach, Pendine Sands is six miles long and is a 40 minute drive. Tenby is also about 40 minutes.
Inland, the Preseli Hills are good for walking and are about 30 minutes away. If you've got children, Oakwood theme park and Folly Farm are both within a 40 minute drive.
