Elm Cottage is in Gellywen, out in the country in Carmarthenshire. It's one of two cottages next to each other on an old farm. We get some great views from here. On a clear day you can see right over to Devon.
It sleeps eight in three bedrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. There's also a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been fully done up, so it's modern and clean inside.
The place is all on one level, which makes it good for accessibility. There's a proper entrance for wheelchairs and an electric bed if needed. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs and kids.
You're out in the sticks here. The nearest shop and pub are about five miles away in Laugharne or Whitland. You'll need a car.
It's a good base for getting around. The coast at Pendine is about a fifteen minute drive. Tenby and Saundersfoot are within half an hour. To the north, the Preseli Hills are close for walking. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is about thirty minutes away too, if you want the coastal path.
Other places you can get to in under thirty minutes include Laugharne Castle, the Dylan Thomas Boathouse, and the iron age fort at Castell Henllys. For a bigger day out, St David's is just over an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
