Starlight
Starlight is in Talog, Carmarthenshire. It's a detached place on our land, about 15 acres. You'll have views over fields and some woodland with a stream. It was all renovated in 2021.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's new, everything works, and it's well equipped. There's a good path around the site so it's accessible for wheelchairs. The main living space is open plan. The kitchen has a slide-and-hide electric oven.
There's a king size bedroom and a wet room on the ground floor. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, both with super king size beds. One has big windows looking out over the valley. You get a family bathroom with a shower over the bath up there too.
Outside is a private deck with a hot tub. It faces west, so you get the sunset. There's little light pollution, so on a clear night you can see a lot of stars. That's where the name comes from.
The nearest proper town is Carmarthen, about 20 minutes by car. Good for shops and supermarkets.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few options. The coast at Tenby and Saundersfoot for beaches. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is worth a visit. There are several castles, like Carew and Kidwelly. For walking, the Preseli Hills are close by. If you're into cycling, the National Cycle Route 47 runs along the boundary of the property.
For facilities: it's all electric, with underfloor heating. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right there, including an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs.
We have two other cottages on the site, Moonlight and Shooting Star. You can book Starlight with those if you've got a bigger group.
