Starlight is a detached cottage in Talog, Carmarthenshire. It's on about fifteen acres of our land, so the views are just fields and woods. There's a stream at the bottom.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two are upstairs with super king beds, one is on the ground floor with a king. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room downstairs. It's been done up recently so everything's modern and in good order. It has a 5 Star rating.
The main room is open plan. The kitchen has what you'd need, including a dishwasher. There's a private deck outside with a hot tub. We can set up a firepit if you ask beforehand. The area has dark skies, so you can see the stars well if it's clear.
The site has wheelchair-friendly paths around the cottage and to the hot tub.
Carmarthen is about twenty minutes away for supermarkets and shops. The coast, like Tenby or Saundersfoot, is under half an hour by car. There are plenty of beaches there.
For local walks, the National Trust and Visit Wales sites have good information. The National Botanic Garden is nearby and worth a visit. You're also on the route for National Cycle Route 47 if you're bringing bikes.
Facilities include parking, an electric vehicle charger, WiFi, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There are two other similar cottages on the same land, Moonlight and Shooting Star. You can book them together if you're a larger group.
