Shooting Star

Shooting Star is a barn conversion we finished in 2022. It's on our land, about 30 acres. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The views are good, just fields and trees.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's new and everything works properly. The main living area is all open plan, kitchen, dining, sitting room. There are French doors out to the deck.

The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub out there. The patio is Indian sandstone. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.

You're about 20 minutes from Carmarthen for shops. Talog itself is quiet. For a day out, the coast at Tenby or Saundersfoot is under half an hour. They've got proper beaches.

There's a lot of history around here. Kidwelly Castle is close. Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is worth a visit. For walks, you've got the Preseli Hills or the National Botanic Garden of Wales nearby.

If you've got kids, Folly Farm and Oakwood are within easy reach. The National Cycle Route 47 runs right past the property boundary if you're into cycling.

Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included. WiFi. It's wheelchair accessible. We allow up to two pets.
