The Dairy
The Dairy is in Llanllwch, just outside Carmarthen. It's one of three cottages converted from old farm buildings next to our house. It's quiet. We often see red kites and buzzards flying over the fields.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
There's a shop about five minutes walk away. The nearest pub is a mile down the road. Carmarthen town is about a ten minute drive for supermarkets and more places to eat.
The coast is less than half an hour away. Tenby and Saundersfoot have good sandy beaches. For castles, Carew is about twenty minutes, and you can get to Kidwelly or Laugharne in about twenty-five. Laugharne is where Dylan Thomas lived.
Inland, the Preseli Hills are good for walking. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about fifteen minutes by car. If you want a theme park or a water park, Oakwood and Bluestone are both within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. Sorry, no pets.
