The Dairy
The Dairy is one of three barns on our farm, next to our house. It used to be, well, a dairy. It's been converted, so it's modern inside but you can still see the old stone walls. It's quiet here. You'll see red kites from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs. It's a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and in good order. It's got underfloor heating.
There's a shop about five minutes walk down the lane. The nearest pub is a mile away in Llanllwch. It's a proper local place.
You're right on the border of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Carmarthen town is about fifteen minutes by car for bigger shops. The coast at Tenby or Saundersfoot is half an hour away. Both have nice beaches.
For walking, you've got the Preseli Hills close by. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a twenty minute drive. There are several castles within half an hour, like Carew and Kidwelly. Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is also nearby.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
