Ty Cerrig Farmhouse is near Bancyfelin in Carmarthenshire. It's an old farmhouse up a lane, so you get views over the fields.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done up well. It's comfortable but it's still an old building, so mind your head on the beams in some rooms.
The master bedroom has its own bathroom and a balcony you can sit out on. There's a wood burner in the living room. We've left some logs for you.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden, a hot tub, and a kids' play area. The games room is in the old barn bit. It's got a pool table, a football table, darts, and some board games.
The local shop and pub are about half a mile down the road. For a big shop, Carmarthen is about fifteen minutes by car.
Laugharne is close, maybe ten minutes drive. That's where Dylan Thomas lived. You can walk along the estuary there and see the boathouse. The castle is nice too.
The coast is about seven miles. Pembrey Country Park is good, with a long beach and a forest. Further on, you've got Tenby and Saundersfoot. They're about half an hour in the car. Tenby has the harbour and the coloured houses.
There are a few castles around if that's your thing. Carreg Cennen is up on a cliff. Kidwelly is a proper medieval one. Kidwelly Castle has information online.
For walking, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is just over the border. Some good sections of the coastal path are within a thirty minute drive.
Facilities: everything on the list is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, towels included. Parking for three cars on the gravel. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
