The Old Vicarage is in Laugharne. It's a big Georgian house, Grade II listed, right in the town. It sleeps ten, has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Five of those are en-suite. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well finished.
It's old, so the floors aren't all level. The stairs are fine, but they're the original ones. Some rooms have stone walls and old slate floors. There's a wood burner in the snug for cool evenings.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden and a patio with a hot tub. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You can eat out there if the weather's good.
You're really central in Laugharne. The shop is about 250 yards away. The pub is even closer, about 40 yards. They do food. Dylan Thomas's writing shed and Browns Hotel are just a short walk if you're interested in that.
For a walk, you can go down to the Grist to see the castle and the estuary. If you fancy the beach, Pendine Sands is a few miles away. A lot of the better Pembrokeshire beaches, like Tenby, are within a 15 to 30 minute drive.
For days out, Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park are about 40 minutes away by car. The coast path is easily accessible from here too.
Facilities: it's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, games room downstairs. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site.
