Ty Llo is one of three barns converted into cottages here. They're quite close together, about 10 metres apart tops, but yours is detached. It's in St Ishmael, Carmarthenshire, on a farm a bit inland from Ferryside.
It sleeps six, but with only two bedrooms. There's a king size bed in one, and then the other room is a bunk with a double on the bottom and a single on top, plus another single bed. So it's a good setup for families, but maybe a squeeze for three couples. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out.
It's all on the ground floor, which they call 'ground floor facilities'. The main living area is open plan, kitchen, dining, sitting room. The floor is stone. There's underfloor heating. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance and inside, and both bathrooms have walk-in showers.
The garden is enclosed, with a patio area and a barbecue. There's parking right there.
You've got the usual things. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a travel cot, highchair and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring one dog.
Location wise, you're a couple of miles from a shop. The nearest pub and restaurant is about three quarters of a mile down the lane. The coast is really close. Ferryside beach is about two miles, you can see it from the fields. Llansteffan beach, with its castle, is about 15 minutes by car. Pembrey Country Park and its long beach is about 20 minutes away.
Kidwelly with its castle is just down the road. Carmarthen town is a 10-minute drive for bigger shops. The Ffos Las racecourse is about 15 minutes away. For a day out, you can get to the Gower Peninsula or into Pembrokeshire in under an hour. Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is about 25 minutes. There are a few good gardens around, like the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney.
