Wrth Y Nant
Wrth Y Nant is in St Ishmael, on Carmarthen Bay. It's part of a small row of terraced cottages. Ours is end of terrace. You get your own bit of garden and it's enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog or kids.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The stairs are a bit steep, just so you know.
There's a pub and a restaurant about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest shop is in Ferryside, about two miles. The beach at Ferryside is shingle, but Pembrey and Llanstephan have sand and they're a short drive. Kidwelly Castle is very close if you like that sort of thing. For a day at the races, Ffos Las is about fifteen minutes by car.
You can get to some good spots within half an hour. Laugharne is interesting for the Dylan Thomas connection. The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are both in that direction too. If you want to go further, the Gower and Pembrokeshire beaches are an hour or so.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a BBQ in the garden.
