Mill Cottage
Mill Cottage is in Llanybri. It's a converted water mill, so you've got the mill race running into the stream at the bottom of the garden. The stream goes out to the river and then into the bay. It's a quiet spot.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The main living space is open plan downstairs.
There's a shared lawn and garden outside. You can use the barbecue. The property is next to our other cottage, The Granary, and our house is nearby too. You can book both cottages together if you need more space.
The local pub and a restaurant are about half a mile away. Llansteffan village is a couple of miles. You can get a coffee there or walk up to the castle. The views from the castle are good, right over the estuary. The Wales Coast Path is about half a mile from the cottage for walking.
Laugharne is about a twenty minute drive. That's where Dylan Thomas lived. You can visit his writing shed. Pendine Sands, where they did the land speed records, is about a half hour drive west. Tenby is walled and by the sea, that's around forty minutes. Carmarthen is about twenty five minutes for shops. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is within half an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site for two cars maximum. There's WiFi and an electric vehicle charger. We allow up to three pets.
