Pentre Cottage
Pentre Cottage is near the village of Ferryside in Carmarthenshire. The cottage was part of an old farmstead. It's up on a bit of a hill, so you get a decent view over the surrounding fields.
It sleeps seven. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. It has a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and well looked after.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that. There's also a small shared play area for kids on the complex, if you need it.
The local shop and a pub are about half a mile away. Ferryside itself is quiet. The beach is a short drive or a decent walk downhill. If you like walking, there are paths right from the cottage.
Kidwelly Castle is about ten minutes away by car. Pembrey Country Park is a similar distance, good for beach walks and cycling. Further afield, you can get to the National Botanic Garden of Wales or Laugharne in under half an hour. The Wales Coast Path runs along this stretch.
Inside, it's open plan with a wood burning stove. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available if you need one.
