Bont Cottage
Bont Cottage is in Llandyry. It’s next to our house, but you’ll have your own space. It’s quiet here.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are steep. They are open-tread and a bit narrow in places, so just be careful, especially with kids.
The garden and patio are yours to use. There’s a BBQ out there. You can park next to the cottage.
Inside, there’s a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. All your bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We’ve got a cot and a highchair if you need them. Pets are welcome, up to two.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away. The pub does food. Kidwelly is very close. The castle there is worth a look. The beach at Carmarthen Bay is about a four mile drive.
For a good day out, Pembrey Country Park is nearby. It has a huge beach, woods to walk in, and a dry ski slope. The Millennium Coastal Path is right there too, good for cycling or walking with views over to the Gower. If you like golf, the Machynys course is a Jack Nicklaus design and not far.
You’re about half an hour from Llanelli. Ffos Las racecourse is there if you fancy the horses. The Scarlets play at Parc y Scarlets if you want to watch some rugby.
If you don’t mind driving a bit further, you can get to Tenby in under an hour.
