Ty Lewis Cottage is in Pwll in Carmarthenshire. It's a semi-detached cottage that used to be our family home, so we've tried to keep it nice. It looks out over fields.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, and the main one is shared between two of the bedrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is handy in winter. The kitchen’s big and has all the usual things. The garden is enclosed and has a fishpond and a summer house with some games inside.
Pwll itself is small. There's a village shop and a pub, both a couple of minutes' walk away. The Wales Coast Path runs along the coast here, so you can walk to Burry Port or Kidwelly along it.
For a beach day, Pembrey Country Park is about ten minutes by car. It has a huge sandy beach and woods to walk in. Burry Port is five minutes away by car; you can see the old lighthouse and there's a café on the harbour.
Llanelli is ten minutes away for bigger shops. If you fancy a day out, Tenby is about fifty minutes' drive. Folly Farm and Heatherton are both within half an hour for families.
Facilities wise, you've got the wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. Up to two dogs are welcome. The garden is fully enclosed.
