Ty Lewis Cottage is in Pwll, just outside Llanelli. It's semi-detached. We used to live there.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. They share a shower between them, the two main bedrooms do. It's a Jack and Jill style. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a normal family house, comfortable but not flash.
The kitchen is a good size and has a dishwasher. There's a wood burner in the living room. The garden is enclosed. There's a fishpond, so you'll need to watch small children and dogs. There's a summer house with some games.
You're on a main road through the village. It's not a busy A-road, but you do get traffic. The village shop and the pub are a short walk away. The pub is decent.
You can walk to the Millennium Coastal Path from the cottage. It's a long path that goes along Carmarthen Bay. You can hire bikes in Burry Port, which is five minutes by car. The harbour there is nice for a wander. Pembrey Country Park is about a ten minute drive. It's good for the beach and for walking.
For golf, the Machynys course is nearby. It's about ten minutes away.
Further out, you've got the Gower Peninsula and Tenby, both about an hour's drive.
Facilities: included bedding and towels, parking for two cars on the drive, washing machine, wifi. We accept up to two dogs.
Useful links: Visit Wales for general planning, and National Trust Dinefwr is about 45 minutes away.
