Ty-Gwyn

Ty-Gwyn is at the end of a farm track in Cynheidre. It's an old cottage, from the 1700s, so it's detached and a bit out on its own. The views from up there are good, across the fields.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and has everything you need, but it's traditional, not modern. There are beams and tile floors. The stairs are steep, like you'd expect.

Inside, there's a main living room and then a separate parlour room with a piano and a big fireplace. The kitchen is small, but it works. There's a Rayburn in the breakfast room, but it's decorative, you don't cook on it.

You've got a fully enclosed garden. Parking is right there. It says pets are allowed, up to two.

The nearest shop and a couple of pubs are about a mile away in Pontyberem. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Cross Hands or Carmarthen.

You're in a good spot for getting about. The coast at Pembrey and Cefn Sidan beach is about a fifteen minute drive. Kidwelly Castle is close, maybe ten minutes. The Botanic Garden is about twenty minutes away. If you fancy a day out, the Gower Peninsula is under an hour. So is Pembrokeshire.

Things you might want to know: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a cot, and a highchair. You've got wifi and TV. All the utilities are included in the price.
