Ty-Gwyn is in Cynheidre, between Llanelli and Carmarthen. It's down its own farm drive, so you're away from the road. The views are good. It's an old place, from the 1700s.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got that 3 Star rating—solid and clean, not a show home. It's got beams and tiled floors. There's a main room, then a separate parlour with a piano and a fireplace. The Rayburn cooker in the breakfast room is decorative, it doesn't work for cooking. The kitchen itself is small but has what you need.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two.
There's a shop and places to eat about a mile away. For a day out, Kidwelly Castle is close. Pembrey Country Park has a long beach at Cefn Sidan. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a 20 minute drive. You can get to the start of the Gower in maybe half an hour. Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coast are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour.
What's here: parking, WiFi, TV, washing machine, highchair and cot if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. The stairs are what you'd expect in an old cottage, so watch your step.
