Y Gelli
This place is called Y Gelli. It's a detached cottage near Pontyates in Carmarthenshire. It feels quite private, set back on its own.
It sleeps six people across three bedrooms. You get two bathrooms, which helps. One's an ensuite upstairs. The place has a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard. It's modern inside, open plan. There's a big wood burner in the middle of the main room, and it's got a Sky Glass TV and WiFi.
The main bedroom upstairs has a super kingsize bed and its own shower. It also has really good views over the fields. Downstairs, one bedroom has patio doors straight out to the garden and a bathroom next to it with a bath and walk-in shower. The bed in there can be two singles if you need that. The other downstairs room is flexible, with a double sofa bed and a single cabin bed, so it's good for a family.
Outside, there's a patio area with a lot going on. There's a sunken hot tub, plenty of seating and a brick barbecue with a fire pit. The garden is yours to use.
Location wise, you're about ten minutes in the car from Pembrey Country Park and the big beach there. Kidwelly Castle is about the same distance. The towns of Carmarthen and Llandeilo are within half an hour. For a day at the coast, the Gower Peninsula is maybe forty minutes drive. The Ffos Las racecourse is close by if that's your thing.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, parking on site, and bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two pets.
