Heron Lodge is in Sylen, near Five Roads in Carmarthenshire. It's a detached timber lodge. It sleeps two, and there's one bedroom and one bathroom.
It's on a small holding with fifty acres of land and two lakes. You look out over one of the lakes and some woods. The bedroom is up on a mezzanine level, so you get a view from there too.
There's a raised deck with a hot tub. The main room has big windows to make the most of the outlook.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's warm and clean. The bed is up a ladder staircase, which is fine for most, but might be awkward for some.
You can walk around the land here. There's a cycle track nearby too. The local pub is about two miles away in Five Roads.
For a day out, Pembrey Country Park is close. It has a big beach, woods, and activities. Pembrey Country Park. Ffos Las racecourse is about three miles away.
Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is worth a visit. There are several castles in the area, like Carreg Cennen. The Gower Peninsula is about a 40-minute drive for some very good beaches.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a BBQ, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
