Y Parlwr
Y Parlwr is in Mynyddygarreg, which is just outside Kidwelly. It's a cottage annexe attached to our house on our smallholding. You have your own entrance and your own bit of garden. It's quiet and looks over our fields.
The place is for two people. One bedroom upstairs with an en-suite shower room. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and everything works. The kitchen is separate from the living room, which some people prefer. The wood burner is nice in the colder months.
Kidwelly is two miles away. There's a shop, a few places to eat, and a train station. Kidwelly Castle is there, run by Cadw. The quay is good for a short walk.
Pembrey Country Park is about six miles. It's a big park by the beach. Burry Port is next to it, a typical little Welsh seaside town.
Carmarthen is the main town, about ten miles. All the bigger shops are there, plus a cinema and bowling. Carmarthen Castle is worth a look too.
For a day out, you can get to the Gower or Tenby in under an hour. Both have very good beaches. The Visit Wales site has more on the area.
What's here: parking, wifi, a smart TV, bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The washing machine is in an outbuilding we'll show you.
