Moss Cottage
Moss Cottage is in Burry Port. It's a terraced house right on the main street. The garden is out the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. We've kept a lot of the original features, like the inglenook fireplace downstairs and some floorboards upstairs. The two double rooms have a view of the harbour.
The stairs are standard for a cottage, so they turn and are a bit steep. There's a stairgate at the top.
You're about 20 yards from a shop and a couple of pubs. The Millennium Coastal Path is literally at the end of the street. You can walk for miles along there. Pembrey Country Park and beach are about six miles away. That's got a big forest, a long beach, and things like a ski slope.
There's a gallery in the house. The paintings are by local artists and you can buy them if you want to. It's just part of the place.
For days out, Kidwelly Castle is about ten minutes drive. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is good, especially if the weather turns. The Gower and Pembrokeshire are both within an hour's drive for different beaches. Carmarthen town is about twenty minutes away.
Facilities: Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on the street outside, it's usually fine.
