Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is up near Carway in Carmarthenshire. It's a detached cottage that used to be a barn, on a small farm. We've got horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and bees. You can see them from the garden.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom upstairs. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen and living area are open plan, with French doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed and faces south, so it gets the sun. You can bring two dogs.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile away in Pontyates. The historic town of Kidwelly is about four miles. It's got shops, places to eat, and a very good Norman castle.
You're in a good spot for days out. Ffos Las racecourse, Pembrey Country Park, and the National Botanic Garden are all within half an hour's drive. Pembrey has a massive beach and a dry ski slope. The coast at Carmarthen Bay is about four miles.
For things a bit further out, the Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire are both about an hour in the car. They're good for a full day out.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. Parking is right outside.
