Hawton

The place is called Hawton. It's an end terrace in a small row of three cottages, near St Ishmael in Carmarthenshire. They're converted barns, so you get the original stone walls and beams. It's detached from the others, so you've got your own walls.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's open plan downstairs.

There's an enclosed garden and patio, with a BBQ. Parking is on site. You get a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The location is rural, between Ferryside and Kidwelly, right on Carmarthen Bay. The coast path is easily accessible. A pub and restaurant is about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles.

For beaches, Ferryside is closest. Pembrey and Llanstephan are a short drive. Kidwelly Castle is nearby if you like history. Ffos Las racecourse is about 15 minutes by car.

You can get to the Gower, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or into Pembrokeshire, in under an hour. Carmarthen town is a short drive for bigger shops. Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is also within easy reach.
