The Coach House is in Pant yr Athro, Carmarthenshire. It's a converted barn on a farm right by the River Towy. The views across the river to Llansteffan and the bay are very good. You're next to the Wales Coast Path.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-finished. There's underfloor heating, a wood burner, and a slate floor in the living area. The kitchen is well-equipped.
Outside, there's an enclosed, south-facing patio. It gets the sun. There's a hot tub out there too, looking over the river.
Ferryside village is about a 20-minute walk along the path. It has a pub, a fish and chip restaurant, a shop, and a beach. The beach is sandy with rock pools.
Kidwelly is a couple of miles away. The castle there is worth a visit. Further along the coast, Pembrey Country Park has a huge beach, woods, and activities like a toboggan run.
The facilities are all there: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and stairgate if needed. No pets.
