Springer Cottage

Springer Cottage is a terraced house in Llansteffan. It's halfway down the row. You have the whole place to yourselves, obviously.

It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's quite well equipped and comfortable. The garden is properly enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs or kids. The back gate goes straight out to a path.

Talking of dogs, you can bring up to four pets. There's a sort of utility room by the back door which is handy for wet coats and muddy paws.

From that back gate, it's about five minutes' walk down to the village centre. There's a pub, a shop, and a cafe. The beach is a bit further, maybe a twenty minute walk along the lane. It's a big sandy beach.

The castle is up on the headland. You can walk up to it. The view from there is really something, looking right across the estuary to Ferryside.

If you want to go a bit further, Laugharne is about a twenty minute drive. That's the Dylan Thomas place. There's a castle there too, and a few places to eat. Carmarthen is twenty minutes the other way. That's your proper town for supermarkets, cinema, that sort of thing.

The Towy and Taf estuaries are great for walking. You can do a circular walk around Wharley Point from the village. For a longer day out, the Pembrokeshire coast is under an hour away.

Facilities in the house: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's bike storage around the back.
