The Old Cow Shed is in St Ishmael, Carmarthenshire. It's a converted barn on our farm, so we're next door in the farmhouse. The views from here are across the fields to Carmarthen Bay.
It sleeps sixteen, which is a lot. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a big, practical space for a group, with stone walls and beams from the original barn.
The garden is yours to use. It's lawned with a patio, looking out towards the coast. There's also a games room inside with a pool table and a table football.
It's about half a mile down the lane to the coast path. A mile the other way gets you to the village shop and a pub. The Millennium Coastal Path is right there for walking or cycling. Pembrey Country Park is along that way, with a long beach.
You're about half an hour from a few places. Llanelli has the Scarlets rugby ground. Kidwelly Castle is a good one to visit. Ffos Las racecourse is nearby. For a day out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is worth the drive. Tenby is about an hour if you fancy that.
In terms of what's here, the listing is pretty accurate. It's got a wet room on the ground floor and is generally wheelchair accessible. There's parking on site. We include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring one dog.
