Bryntowy

This is Bryntowy. It's a detached Welsh barn, one of three here. Ty Llo and Coal House are just a few yards away. They're all separate, so you have your own space.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a Four Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. You'll find original stone walls and beams, which is nice.

We're in St Ishmael, between Ferryside and Kidwelly on Carmarthen Bay. It's a quiet, coastal spot. There's a pretty good pub that does food about three quarters of a mile away. The shop is two miles, so you'll probably want to drive.

The beach at Ferryside is a few minutes in the car. Pembrey and Llanstephan beaches are close too. Kidwelly Castle is right nearby, well worth a look. Carmarthen town is a short drive for bigger shops.

You're in a good spot for getting out. Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is about 20 minutes away. The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are within half an hour. For a proper day at the beach, the Gower Coast is about 45 minutes, and Pembrokeshire is just over an hour.

For facilities, you've got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right here. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
