Trondra House

Trondra House is in Ferryside, on the Carmarthenshire coast. It's a detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac.

It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, which is about right.

The front door is on the level, so it’s fine for a wheelchair up to the threshold. Once inside, everything is on the ground floor except the bedrooms and bathroom, which are upstairs. The stairs are normal.

Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining area and living space. It’s a good size. The french doors lead to a conservatory, which is a nice spot to sit. The garden is enclosed, so it’s safe for dogs or kids. You can use the barbecue out there.

The master bedroom has a juliet balcony. The bathroom has both a large bath and a walk-in shower.

It’s about a five minute walk to the village. There’s a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. The beach is about a mile away, maybe a twenty minute walk. The local rugby club does a lunch on weekends sometimes.

For getting out, the Millennium Coastal Path starts here. You can walk or cycle along it for miles, past Kidwelly and Burry Port all the way to Llanelli. It’s very flat.

By car, you can get to Tenby in about 45 minutes. Oakwood theme park and Folly Farm are within half an hour.

Included in the house: all bedding and towels, WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair and stairgate. Parking is on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
