Cwtch @ Forge Cottage
Cwtch @ Forge Cottage is on the outskirts of Laugharne, in a place called Broadway. It's a modern annex, attached to the main house. You have your own patio and garden.
It sleeps three. One big L-shaped bedroom with a king-size bed and a single bed. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's nicely done. Everything's new and clean.
It's quiet here. You look out over fields. At night, with little light pollution, you can see a lot of stars. You might see bats or birds of prey.
It's about a ten minute walk into Laugharne centre. There are a couple of pubs and places to eat there. The famous Laugharne Castle is right there, and you can see Dylan Thomas's boathouse. The whole area is known from the 'Keeping Faith' TV series.
For beaches, Pendine Sands is about a ten minute drive. Big sandy beach. You can walk the coastal path from there. Ginst Point is another good one nearby.
If you want to go further, Tenby is about 40 minutes by car. The whole Pembrokeshire coast is within reach for a day out. Useful links for planning: Visit Wales and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Facilities: there's parking for one car, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you need it. Sorry, no pets.
