Milkwood

This is Milkwood. It's an apartment in Pendine, Carmarthenshire, up on the hillside. You look out over the woods and down to Pendine Sands. The view is the big thing here.

It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's nicely done, modern and clean. The main living area is open plan and there's underfloor heating. The kitchen has what you need.

Outside there's a decent sized patio with a table and chairs. You can see the beach from there. There's also a hot tub on the terrace that fits four people.

You can walk down into Pendine. It's about a ten minute stroll. The beach is seven miles long, good for a proper walk. There are cafes and pubs there.

Laugharne is about ten minutes by car. That's where Dylan Thomas lived. You can see his boathouse and the castle there.

If you want to explore, Tenby and Saundersfoot are both within half an hour's drive. The border with Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is close too. For a longer day out, places like Oakwood theme park or Folly Farm are about 45 minutes away.

Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a cot and highchair if needed, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
