Milkwood

Milkwood is an apartment in Pendine. It's on the hillside above the village, looking out over Pendine Sands. You get good views from the patio.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything is on one level, which is handy. It has underfloor heating.

The living area is open plan. The kitchen is part of that space and it's got what you need. There's a dishwasher. Outside is a decent sized patio with a table and chairs, and a hot tub that fits four.

You can bring one dog. We include the bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you're bringing a baby. Parking is right there.

To get down to Pendine Sands, the beach, it's a short drive or a bit of a walk downhill. It's a huge beach, about seven miles long. The village has a couple of cafes, a shop, and pubs.

Laugharne is about ten minutes away by car. That's where Dylan Thomas lived. You can visit the boathouse and the castle by the river.

Within half an hour you can get to Tenby and Saundersfoot. They're proper seaside towns with harbours and shops. Carmarthen is about the same distance for bigger supermarkets.

For local walks and information, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site is useful. So is Visit Wales for planning days out further afield.
