Y Hendy Llaeth
This place is called Y Hendy Llaeth. It's on a farm near the village of Red Roses, right on the border between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. It's a detached barn conversion, so it's all yours. There are two other holiday cottages in the same big courtyard, but you wouldn't really know they're there.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main room is open plan, with a galley kitchen at one end. It's a good kitchen for cooking. The living area has patio doors that open onto a large patio. The view is over fields. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
You're about ten minutes from the coast. The beach at Pendine Sands is famous for its seven miles of sand. Amroth is another good beach village nearby. From there, you can get onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It's a proper long-distance walking trail.
The walled town of Tenby is about a twenty-minute drive. It has shops, restaurants, and a very nice beach. If you need a big day out, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton, and Folly Farm are all within half an hour.
Closer to home, Colby Woodland Garden is only five minutes away by car. It's nice for a stroll. There's a local pub and restaurant you can walk to, about 800 yards. The nearest shop is two and a half miles.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside. Sorry, no pets.
