Cowshed 1 is a barn conversion near Whitland in Carmarthenshire. It's one of two semi-detached places, so Cowshed 2 is right next door. They were both done up in 2021.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and everything works as it should. The whole living area is open plan. The ceilings are high and there are some wooden beams. Everything is on the ground floor and the entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's best to check the specifics with us if accessibility is a key requirement.
The place looks out over fields towards the Preseli Hills. You get your own enclosed patio area with a barbecue.
Inside, it's got a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
Location wise, you're about a 20 minute drive from the coast. Tenby and Saundersfoot are the main seaside towns that way. Narberth is closer, maybe 10 minutes by car. It's good for interesting shops and places to eat.
For history, Pembroke Castle and Carew Castle are within half an hour. Laugharne, which has its castle and the Dylan Thomas connection, is about 25 minutes away. Llansteffan, with its beach and ruined castle, is roughly a 20 minute drive.
If you're here for walks, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily reached. For a bigger day out, Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, and the National Botanic Garden of Wales are all within a 40 minute drive.

No pets, sorry. This one can be booked together with Cowshed 2 next door if you're a larger group.
