Y Bwythyn is here in Tavernspite. It's a detached cottage. The name, by the way, just means "The Cottage" in Welsh. You'll see a few signs around here like that.
It sleeps seven people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped. They've kept some of the old oak beams inside, which look nice. There's a wood burner in the main living area, which is open-plan with the kitchen. That keeps the place warm.
The village is quiet. There's a pub and a restaurant about a five minute walk away. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away, in either Whitland or Narberth.
For the coast, Tenby is about nine miles. That's where the good beaches are. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is right there. You can be on the coastal path in under half an hour. Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm are both within a thirty minute drive if you've got children with you.
There's a fishing lake, Llyn Carvan, two miles up the road. You need a licence. They hire equipment.
The facilities are all here: parking, garden, dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. It's wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
