Cowshed 2
Cowshed 2 is in Whitland, Carmarthenshire. It's a converted barn, one of two next to each other. We finished the work in 2021. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's all new and works properly.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The main living space is open plan with high ceilings and the original beams. The shower is a walk-in one. The whole place is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor.
You're right out in the country here. The view from the garden looks out towards the Preseli Hills. The garden is enclosed and private, with a patio area and a BBQ.
For the coast, Tenby and Saundersfoot are about a half hour drive. They've got the proper sandy beaches and harbours. Closer than that, about ten minutes in the car, is Narberth. It's good for a wander, with interesting shops and places to eat.
There's a lot of history around here. Pembroke Castle and Carew Castle are within half an hour. Laugharne is famous for Dylan Thomas and has a castle overlooking the water. It's about twenty five minutes away.
If you've got children, or just like that sort of thing, Oakwood theme park, Heatherton, and Folly Farm are all roughly 40 minutes away.
Facilities wise: it's got WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Parking is right there. No pets, I'm afraid.
