Cowshed 2
Cowshed 2 is in Whitland, Carmarthenshire. It's a converted barn, semi-detached to another one. We finished the restoration in 2021. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main living space is open plan, with a high vaulted ceiling and some wooden beams left in. The stairs are fine, not too steep. There's a walk-in shower, not a bath. The whole place is on one level once you're inside, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
You've got your own enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking right outside. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi, and the electricity. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We don't allow pets.
The location is rural. You look out over fields towards the Preseli Hills. The nearest proper shops and places to eat are in Whitland or Narberth, about a ten minute drive. Narberth has good restaurants and some interesting shops.
The coast is about a twenty minute drive. Tenby and Saundersfoot are the main resorts there, with beaches and harbours. For castles, you've got Carew and Pembroke nearby. Laugharne is worth a visit, it's got a castle and the Dylan Thomas connection. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has all the details for the coastal path and beaches.
If you've got children to entertain, Oakwood theme park, Folly Farm, and Heatherton are all within a 30 to 40 minute drive.
