The Barn
The Barn is in Llanddewi Velfrey. It's our old farm building, completely detached, which we converted a few years back. It's got a proper 5 Star rating, so it's well set up.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of those bathrooms is an en-suite off the main bedroom. We did the kitchen new, so it's got a dishwasher and all that. There's a woodburning stove in the main room.
The building itself is old, from the 1700s. The ceilings are low in parts, and the doorways are a bit short if you're tall. You'll know if you are.
You get the garden and patio to yourselves. We're in the countryside, so the grounds are quite big. There are footpaths leading off into the woods from the property.
For the coast, you're looking at about a twenty-minute drive. Tenby and Saundersfoot are that way, with the beaches and the harbour. They get busy in summer.
If you want to plan walks, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is all along there. The local golf course is about five minutes away by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, parking on site, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to two well-behaved dogs.
