The Buttery

The Buttery is in Marros, Carmarthenshire. It's on a quiet country lane, about halfway between Pendine and Amroth.

It's a converted barn, sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. There are some accessible features like a ground floor wet room and grab rails. The main entrance and the shower are suitable for a wheelchair.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's a five acre enclosed field on site where they can run. The garden is enclosed too.

The cottage is on a small holding with a farm shop. There are 17 acres of grounds and woodland walks here that lead directly to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. From there you can get down to some quiet coves and beaches.

Amroth village is a short drive. It's got a sandy beach, a couple of pubs and cafes. Pendine Sands is the other way, known for the long beach.

Tenby and Saundersfoot are about a 20 minute drive. Tenby has the harbour, beaches, and boat trips to Caldey Island. Saundersfoot is a smaller harbour town.

Further into Pembrokeshire, you've got places like Narberth for independent shops, and castles like Carew and Pembroke. Theme parks like Oakwood and Folly Farm are within half an hour.

As for the cottage itself, it's got the basics covered: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.

There's an interconnecting door to the property next door, Dairy Cottage. You can book them together if you're a larger group.
