Bay View
This is Bay View. It's in Stepaside, Pembrokeshire. The name is accurate, you can see the sea from here. It's a converted barn, semi-detached, in the grounds of our house.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home. The ceilings are low in parts because of the beams, so mind your head if you're tall.
Downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, table, sofa. Upstairs are the bedrooms. The main one has the sea view.
Outside, there's a seating area at the front and a big shared lawn. The shared part is with the other cottage, Sea View.
It's about a half hour walk down to the coast at Amroth or Wisemans Bridge. Both have a pub and a beach. The coast path runs through there. For surfing, you'd drive to Newgale or Tenby.
Saundersfoot and Tenby are a short drive away. Tenby has the harbour and the old town walls. For a day out with kids, Folly Farm is about 15 minutes by car. The National Trust's Colby Woodland Garden is nearby too.
Facilities: wifi, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's parking. No pets, sorry.
