Marros Hill Log Cabin is on our smallholding, near Marros in Carmarthenshire. It's detached. The main thing is the view, it looks right down the valley and out to the coast.
It sleeps six upstairs. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area and kitchen are all one open plan room. There's a sun room on the front. Good for morning coffee.
The stairs inside are a typical cabin ladder style, so they're quite steep. Something to be aware of if you have very young children or mobility issues. The front door and the ground floor are wheelchair accessible, but the sleeping area isn't.
You can walk down to the little hamlet of Marros. The beach is about a 20 minute walk. At low tide, it joins up with Pendine Sands, so you've got miles of sand to walk along. Pendine has the Museum of Speed, a pub, a cafe, and a shop.
Tenby is maybe 20 minutes by car. It's a proper seaside town with beaches and boat trips to Caldey Island. The National Trust's Colby Woodland Garden is nearby too.
Facilities: there's parking, a garden, a cot and highchair, TV, and bedding is included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We're on a smallholding, so you'll see our sheep and chickens about.
