Pendine Beach Apartment
This is the Pendine Beach Apartment in Pendine. It's a two bedroom flat on the ground floor of a modern building right on the clifftop. It sleeps four. There's one bathroom with a shower.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the seven miles of sand at Pendine Sands, and you can see the Gower Peninsula across the water. The living area and kitchen are open plan, and there's underfloor heating. The balcony is a good size. You can sit out there with a coffee and just watch the sea.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kept and comfortable. There's parking right there, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
You can walk down into Pendine village in a few minutes. There are a couple of cafes and pubs right by the beach. The sands are famous for land speed records, which is interesting. You can just walk for miles.
Laugharne is about ten minutes' drive. That's where Dylan Thomas lived. You can see his boathouse and the castle by the river. It's a nice place for a wander.
Tenby is within half an hour. It's a proper seaside town with coloured houses around the harbour, good beaches, and boat trips over to Caldey Island. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park authority site has walking maps and details on places like that. For wider planning, Visit Wales is useful.
The facilities list says it all really: dishwasher, TV, parking. It's a straightforward place in a very good spot.
