Stable Cottage is in Amroth, Pembrokeshire. It’s a detached stone cottage, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. You can bring two dogs. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is up on the cliffs, so the views are very good. You can see right across Carmarthen Bay towards the Gower. It’s in the grounds of the main house, with a couple of other cottages nearby. There’s a private deck with a hot tub.
Inside it’s open plan, with a wood burner and beamed ceilings. The floors are old stone, so they’re a bit uneven in places. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There’s an electric vehicle charger.
The beach and the village are about a fifteen minute walk downhill. There’s a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and some cafes. The beach is sandy and good for children, with kayaking and surfing nearby.
For walking, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there. The National Trust’s Colby Woodland Garden is close by and worth a visit. Saundersfoot and Tenby are both within a twenty minute drive. Tenby has the castle and the town walls.
