The Nook
The Nook is one of the converted barns here at Marros. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.
The barns are old, from the 18th century I think. They're on a small holding, so it's quiet. There's a small farm shop on site for basics. The lane outside is just for access, so there's no passing traffic.
You're between Pendine and Amroth. Both are a short drive. Amroth has a sandy beach, a couple of pubs and a cafe. Pendine is known for its long sands. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right on the doorstep. You can walk from the property down through the woods to the coastal path and find some quiet coves.
Further afield, Tenby and Saundersfoot are about twenty minutes by car. Tenby has the harbour and the island boat trips. For a bigger day out, Pembroke Castle is worth a visit, and places like Oakwood or Folly Farm are within half an hour if you need that sort of thing.
The place is set up for dogs. We allow two. There's a large, enclosed field here just for them to run in. The garden attached to the cottage is enclosed too.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We've also got a cot and highchair if required.
