Granary Barn

Granary Barn is in Marros, down a quiet lane midway between Pendine and Amroth. It's a converted barn, one of a few on a smallholding. You get a private garden.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Parts of it, like the ground floor wet room shower, are quite modern. It's open plan downstairs.

The stairs are a typical barn conversion style, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner. We've put a stairgate at the top. There's also a games room in the shared building, which is handy if the weather's bad.

The location is good if you want a mix of coast and country. You can walk through the 17 acres of woods and grounds here to get onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Amroth beach is sandy and about a ten-minute drive. Pendine Sands, the long beach, is about the same the other way.

Nice places within half an hour include Tenby and Saundersfoot for harbour towns, and Narberth for independent shops. For castles, you've got Carew and Pembroke close by. If you need a big family day out, Folly Farm or Oakwood Theme Park are about 25 minutes away.

They allow two dogs here. There's a big, enclosed dog run field on site which people find useful.

Facilities: there's a dishwasher and washing machine, cot and highchair, bedding and towels are included, and you can park right outside. There's a BBQ and an enclosed patio.
