Cwm Hyfryd is near Llanboidy. It's a converted barn, which means stone walls and open beams. The floors are slate in places, so they can be a bit cold on bare feet. It's proper detached and quiet.
It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. They all have their own en-suite shower rooms, which is handy with a group. The stairs to the first floor are quite steep, barn stairs. There's a ground floor bedroom and shower room as well for easier access.
Inside, it's one big open space on the ground floor: kitchen, dining, and sitting area. There's a wood burner. The old hay feeder from when it was a barn is still there, in the living area. The sunroom doors open straight out to the patio and the hot tub.
Outside there's about five acres of land for the property. You can walk straight onto a public footpath from there. The local pub in Llanboidy village is about a twenty minute walk up the lane. It does food.
The coast is about twenty minutes drive. Llansteffan has a castle and a beach. National Trust Llansteffan Castle. Pendine Sands is the same sort of distance for a long, flat beach. For a bigger day out, Tenby is about forty minutes away.
Facilities wise: there's parking right there, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and the hot tub. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The whole place is on one level except for the main stairs to three of the bedrooms.
