Y Beudy Bach
Y Beudy Bach is a converted barn near Pontyberem. It means The Small Cow Shed. It's detached.
The cottage sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor, which is handy. It has a 5 Star rating.
Inside, it's all open-plan downstairs. The kitchen has a range cooker. There's a big table in the living area. The ceilings are high because of the barn roof.
The cottage is next to my salon, which you can see from the garden. You can book hair or beauty treatments if you want. The garden itself is private and looks out over fields.
Pontyberem village is a few minutes' drive. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, and a pub. The coast is about a 15-minute drive. Ferryside beach is good for swimming and kayaking.
Kidwelly Castle is ten minutes away. It's a well-preserved Norman castle. Kidwelly Castle. Pembrey Country Park is about 20 minutes away. It has a huge beach, Cefn Sidan Sands, and woodland walks. There's also a dry ski slope there.
Carmarthen and Llanelli are market towns about 15 minutes in either direction for bigger shops. For a day out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is half an hour away. Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived, is about 40 minutes. Tenby and the Gower Peninsula are roughly an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
