Ystabl

This is Ystabl. It's one of two cottages next to our farmhouse on Mwdlwscwm Farm, in Llannon. The countryside is quiet out here, typical for Carmarthenshire. You can see fields from the windows.

The cottage is small, sleeps three. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. It's an old building, so the walls are thick and the rooms feel solid. You're welcome to bring a dog, we can take up to two.

There's an enclosed garden area for you. It's paved, with a table and chairs, and a barbecue. You can sit out there without worrying about the dog wandering off. Parking is right outside the cottage.

Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV with satellite, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them, and a stairgate at the top.

For a pint or a meal, the nearest pub is about a mile down the road in the village. The proper shops are in Llanelli, that's ten minutes in the car. Llanelli beach is about four miles away. The Wales Coast Path is nearby if you want a good walk.

You're well placed for day trips. Swansea and the start of the Gower Peninsula are about twenty-five minutes east. Pembrokeshire's beaches are an hour or so west. Head north and you're in the Brecon Beacons National Park in under an hour. We're five minutes from the M4, so it's easy to get moving.

We live in the farmhouse next door, so we're usually around if you need anything. Ystabl can be booked with the other cottage, Y Beudy, if you're a larger group.

A couple of useful links: Visit Wales is good for general planning, and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has all the details for the coast.
