White Springs - Oak Lodge
White Springs - Oak Lodge is up in Pentrebach, Glamorgan. It's one of three new log cabins by a lake. They're all very similar, built next to each other so they all get the same view. This one sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
The main thing about it is the lake. The windows are big so you can see it from inside, and there's a veranda outside to sit on. It's quiet. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and clean.
The facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, TV, heating. Bedding and towels are provided. You can park right there. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
On site, there's fishing if you're into that - White Springs is a well-known fishery. There's a local pub a short walk away.
You're well placed for getting out. The Gower Peninsula, with its beaches like Rhossili Bay, is about half an hour's drive. Swansea is about 20 minutes away for shops and the Maritime Quarter. For walking, the Brecon Beacons are within half an hour. Cardiff is roughly 45 minutes if you fancy a city day.
