This is Oak Lodge at White Springs. It's my place, it's a log cabin. It's one of three identical cabins next to each other on the same site, near Pentrebach. They're new builds. You've got a view over the fishing lakes from the big windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 3 Star, but it's comfortable and clean. Good leather sofas, big TV. Things like bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a patio area with outdoor furniture. The cabins share the site outlook but each has its own space.
The location is quiet. It's countryside, but not remote. There's a local pub within walking distance. If you're into fishing, the lakes here are very well known. Even if you're not, it's a peaceful spot to sit outside.
You're about ten miles from Swansea for shops and the Gower Peninsula beaches. The M4 is a few minutes away for getting around. The Visit Wales site is good for planning. For heritage, Cadw lists a lot of local castles and sites. The Brecon Beacons are about a 30 minute drive north if you want proper hills.
