Ty Howton is in Craig Cefn Parc. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's handy if you don't want stairs. It's got three bedrooms and one bathroom, and it sleeps six.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living room has a wood burner, which is good for cooler evenings. The kitchen is open plan and looks out over the valley. The views from there, and from the garden, are the main thing. You can see right across.
The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing a dog. You can have one pet. There's parking right outside.
You're up on the side of the valley here. It's quiet. The local pub is about half a mile away, down in the village. They do food. There's a shop about the same distance.
For walking, you can step straight out. The Cwm Clydach RSPB reserve is close by. If you follow the river, you might see dippers or grey wagtails.
You're in a good spot for getting to places. The M4 is about 15 minutes away. Swansea city centre is about 8 or 9 miles. The Gower Peninsula starts just after Swansea. The beaches there, like Rhossili or Three Cliffs, are about a 40 minute drive depending on which one. The Brecon Beacons are north of here, maybe 45 minutes to an hour to the main parts.
If you're into mountain biking, Afan Forest Park is roughly 17 miles away. Bike Park Wales is about 35 miles.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
