This is Ty'r Tarw. It's a place on our farm near Rhos, just over the Carmarthenshire border. You're up a bit of a hill, so the views are good. It's quiet.
It's for two people. One bedroom, but there are two bathrooms, which is handy. One's a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and sometimes hear us going about. There's a public footpath that goes right through the land if you want to start a walk from the door.
The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in Pontardawe. The town has a leisure centre with a pool. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Swansea or Ammanford.
You're well placed for getting out. The Afan Valley is close for cycling. The Brecon Beacons are about half an hour's drive for proper hills. The Gower coast is maybe 45 minutes if you want a beach. Dan yr Ogof caves are about 20 minutes away.
What's here: your own patio with a BBQ, parking right outside, a washing machine, WiFi, and the TV has satellite. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot or highchair in if you need it. No pets, sorry. It's one of three cottages here, so sometimes there are other guests.
If you're looking for walking or day out ideas, these sites are good: Visit Wales, Brecon Beacons National Park, and the National Trust in Wales.
